CD Listening Club

These one-hour virtual gatherings are hosted on Zoom, and are open to guitarists and non-guitarists alike!

The CD Listening Club is similar to a book club, with CCGS’s Adam Satorius (Educator & Community Engagement) leading the discussion about a classical guitar CD. Listen to the recording prior to the meeting, and join us for a lively conversation about some fantastic music!

If you are interested in participating in any of the CD Club meetings, contact us by email (info@cleguitar.org) or by phone (216-905-9348) to receive the Zoom login information. We will take sign-ups until the day before the class.

A note from Adam…

I’ve always enjoyed listening to recordings of great players for a variety of reasons. Every concert I go to, I make sure to bring some spare cash to buy a CD from the artist. There is something unique about sitting down with the intention of relaxing and listening to a CD or record. Listening opens me up to new music and new musical ideas, it inspires me to sit down in the practice room, and it connects me with other people: “Have you heard her Bach CD? It’s incredible! I can’t believe the way she…”

I hope that this club can be a means for us to connect with each other. If you feel the same, please join us for a monthly conversation about some great music!
