Open Recitals provide an opportunity for guitarists of all ages and skill levels to perform for a supportive audience at no cost. Sign up below if you are interested in performing! Please keep in mind that these are not intended to be professional performances, but rather opportunities for wonderful, enthusiastic people who love the guitar to gain valuable performance experience.
During the 2024-2025 season, we will offer recitals in three locations:
Virtual Recitals (via Zoom)-
At least 24 hours prior to the recital we will send out an email with the Zoom link and program. We have extensive tutorials available for anyone who does not have experience with Zoom or needs help setting it up for the peformance. If you have any questions, please email us at info@cleguitar.org.
John Carroll University* (Eastside)- 1 John Carroll Boulevard, University Heights, Ohio 44118
For recitals at John Carroll University, please note that although the general campus address is listed as 1 John Carroll Blvd, the recitals are held in the St Francis Chapel. When driving to campus, you can either enter from the main entrance at Warrensville Circle (once you pass the guard gate follow the road to the right and all the way down until it dead ends at the Belvoir lot), or from the Belvoir Rd entrance which leads right into the Belvoir lot. After parking in the Belvoir lot, you’ll enter the building closest to Belvoir Rd, which will say Recreation Complex (or Lombardo Student Center or Natatorium). Enter from the door that faces the parking lot, and follow the hallway to your left until you come to a set of stars that leads down to the chapel.
