Notably, she is the first female winner of the prestigious JoAnn Falletta International Guitar Concerto Competition, where Falletta herself described Ms. Byun’s performance as “stunning, showcasing her gorgeous tone, immaculate technique, and sophisticated musicianship.”

Boyd Meets Girl pairs Australian classical guitarist Rupert Boyd with American cellist Laura Metcalf. The duo performs an eclectic and engaging range of repertoire, from Bach to Beyoncé. Both acclaimed soloists in their own right, Boyd has been described as “truly evocative” by The Washington Post, and as “a player who deserves to be heard” by Classical Guitar Magazine.

Grammy-award winning classical guitarist David Russell is world renowned for his superb musicianship and inspired artistry, having earned the highest praise from audiences and critics alike. In recognition of his great talent and his international career, he was named a Fellow of The Royal Academy of Music in London in 1997.

MASK POLICY UPDATE
Please note that, in accordance with Plymouth Church’s current policy, masks will now be optional for all patrons, staff, and performers.

Our goal at CCGS is to put on events that are not only safe but comfortable as well. If, for any reason, you do not feel safe and comfortable attending one of our events and have already purchased tickets we will gladly give a full refund. Please email your request to info@cleguitar.org.

RETURN POLICY
We encourage patrons to buy tickets in advance to reduce lines. We will issue refunds if you cannot make the concert for any reason. For refunds, please contact us. If you are contacting us on the day of the concert, we may return your message and process your refund the following week due to high volume.

Tickets will still be available for purchase at the concert venue, with the exception of Gold Circle tickets which are only sold in advance.

Post-concert receptions have been replaced with a Question and Answer session with the artist in the concert hall for those who wish to stay.
