With its beginnings in 2009, The International Series is Cleveland Classical Guitar Society’s flagship concert series. These performances showcase the world’s greatest classical guitarists, from recent Guitar Foundation of America champions to Grammy Award winners. To date, these artists represent 26 countries and 36 Cleveland debuts. For our 2026-2027 season, International Series concerts are hosted in the beautiful Maltz Performing Arts Center on Saturday evenings at 7:30. Full list of artists and details are here.
In recent years, CCGS has worked with local promoters and venues to present artists of other genres to Cleveland stages. These have included blistering nights from guitarist like New York jazz player Mark Whitfield, Brazilian virtuoso Diego Figuereido, and a five guilt octet with Michigan based guitarist Randy Napoleon.
