The CCGS annual Showcase is a celebration of the Cleveland community and music! Our 2026 concert will begin with local classical guitar phenoms Lucas (Yuhao) Chen and Nathaniel Hill.
Our headlining act will be the duo of Cleveland guitarist Sam Hooper and keyboardist Ed Ridley. Hooper is acclaimed for his captivating blend of blues, rock, jazz, and funk, with his soulful vocals compared to Otis Redding and his guitar playing likened to Jimi Hendrix and Carlos Santana.
Well respected and seasoned, Ed Ridley’s musical abilities have impacted Northeast Ohio, the US, and abroad for over 35 years. The varied experience of accompanying major artists such as Walter Hawkins, Aretha Franklin, Jon Hendricks, Vanessa Rubin, Peter Yarrow and Lauryn Hill are excellent examples of his versatility.
