Join us for the Musical Pathways Fellowship Recital of CCGS Education student Damian Goggans. This performance includes works by Leo Brouwer, Luigi Legnani, Celso Machado, José Luis Merlin, Heitor Villa-Lobos, and Antonio Vivaldi. Damian will also perform his original composition, entitled Ballad for a Mother.


Damian Goggans began studying guitar in 2016, as part of the Cleveland Classical Guitar Society’s Education Program. He has been accepted into the Cleveland School of the Arts, the Cleveland Institute of Music’s Musical Pathways Fellowship, and two prestigious summer programs: Interlochen Arts Camp (Michigan) and Brevard Music Center Summer Institute (North Carolina). Last year Damian appeared on CBS This Morning nationwide with CCGS Executive Director Erik Mann in a spotlight on mentorship. Damian’s many prestigious concerts include this performance  with the internationally renowned duo Les Frères Méduses.
